Welcome to the MCRCS Website!

The Mercer County Radio Control Society is a chartered club (#422) of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. Our focus is radio controlled flying models, but the range we fly is quite broad, extending from small electric plastic foam through giant-scale wooden models with wingspans as great as 19 feet.

2012 Student Days

As a club member or applicant, you are eligible for flying instruction at no charge. The club has a team of qualified instructors that will teach you the basics of radio-controlled flight. Although instruction can occur anytime throughout the year, Tuesday afternoons and evenings, when it is light enough to fly, have been set aside especially for this purpose.

During these times, instructors will be available at the field and students will be given priority use of the runway, airspace, and radio channels.
